Our research labs are well equipped and have most of modern equipments necessary for research in molecular biology, microbiology, diagnostics and biomarkers. GMERF has internal long-term research projects for PhD and also designs short-term research projects to help undergraduate and postgraduate students of life sciences from our associate universities and colleges with whom we have signed Memorandum of Understanding. GMERF has successfully offered research projects to more than 35 students so far. Our research projects offer comprehensive training to students in research literature search, scientific presentations, communication/presentation skills, designing experiments, interpreting results and writing manuscripts for publications. Many students have published their first ever research papers from GMERF and got admission to MS degree in US universities. Our own staff members are pursuing their PhD programs in Biotechnology.
The laboratory and Dr. Ch. Lakshmi Kiran are recognized for PhD program for Biotechnology under Department of Genetics & Biotechnology, Osmania University.
The laboratory is recognised by Biotechnology Consortium of India to offer Industrial training in Transplant Biology, Immunology, Genomics, Molecular Diagnostics and Biomarkers.
