Advanced PG Diploma course for Physician Assistant (PA) is important member of the health care team, working interdependently with physicians in virtually all medical specialties and settings. Physician assistants have many of the responsibilities as doctors, though they work under a physician's or surgeon's supervision. Under the overall supervision of a physician PAs take histories, conduct physical examinations, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care and may assist in procedures. A PA's practice may also include education, research and administration.

• The course is of two years duration (4 semesters) with a foundation course in basic medical sciences, case studies, advanced theory, practical training and internship.
